Who We Are
We are nurse practitioners (NPs) with experience in primary care, chronic disease management, acute and long term care. With many in northern Ontario lacking access to a family health care provider, our goal is to help fill this gap until a long term option is available. We offer virtual or telephone walk in clinic and primary care services compliant with Ontario privacy standards. Our team includes physician collaboration.

About Nurse Practitioners
We offer advanced assessment, diagnosis, lab/test ordering & interpretation, referral to specialists (when indicated) and prescribing services autonomously as independent licensed and regulated health care professionals. There are very few funded primary care nurse practitioner (NP-PHC) services and a lack of primary care physicians in Ontario resulting in many people without a primary health care provider. Whereas physicians are funded by OHIP, NPs are funded only through specific programs or health care models (FHT, CHC, NP-led clinics) and not OHIP. This means most NP services are not insured requiring either private pay or third party coverage. Routine labs, tests (x-rays, CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, etc.) are insured under OHIP when ordered by an NP.
